The Abobaku of Ile Ife is currently on the run which may stall the final burial rite of the Late Oba Sijuade the Ooni Of Ife.
Several reports claim the burial rites of Oba Sijuwade,the Ooni of Ife has reportedly been stalled after the Abobaku fled the town. The Abobaku is “The one who dies with the king”.He is usually appointed upon a king’s coronation, and has to be buried with the king when he eventually dies.His job is to serve the king even in the world beyond.
